Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Morris County

Flanders store sold ticket with Megaplier for Tuesday drawing.

Someone who bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket from the Dollar & Party World in Flanders is richer this week.

A $25,000 third place ticket was sold from the store at 50 International Drive in Flanders Tuesday, matching four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball. The third place prize is usually worth just $5,000, but the ticket purchaser used the Megaplier option, which resulted in a $25,000 payout.

Three other third places winners were drawn Tuesday, from Bordentown, Bayonne, and Matawan, all using the multiplier for a $25,000 payout.

There were no jackpot winners in the drawing, which rolled the total to $270 million for Friday night’s drawing.
