220 Howell Seniors Vaccinated At Township Distribution Event
All Howell residents are now eligible to be placed on the township's vaccination list. Here's how to register.
HOWELL, NJ - Over 200 senior Howell Township residents were inoculated at the township’s second vaccine distribution event, officials said.
Residents were able to secure an appointment through Howell’s priority vaccination program, which recently opened its eligibility from those ages 65 and older to all residents regardless of age. A municipal alert sent Tuesday afternoon details that individuals from the list will be contacted with an appointment date and time for their vaccination as doses become available. According to Howell Township councilman John Bonevich, vaccine supply “may become a weekly thing for us in Howell,” with those who registered on the township website slated to be called in the upcoming weeks.

“BIG BIG shout to Victor Cook from Howell Twp OEM and all The PAL volunteers! Today another 220 Howell Seniors were vaccinated with the J&J COVID-19 Vaccine,” Bonevich wrote in a Wednesday social media post. “Victor Cook has been tireless working hard sourcing vaccines from wherever and whenever vaccines are available. Today 220 vaccines were sourced from Monmouth County and the vaccinations were given by Dr. Sal Mule and his team from Myinstadoc.”
Completing the online registration form does not guarantee a vaccine. Individuals will be contacted with an appointment date as they become available. Photo ID and insurance information will be required at the vaccination site.
