HOWELL, NJ — Old Tavern Road will be closed overnight Thursday and Friday for paving, Howell police said Wednesday. The closure will be in the area of Manassa Road from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. both nights, police said. Road crews with Monmouth County Highway will be milling the road and paving it, weather permitting. Access to the area will be limited and detours will be in place, police said, and police officers will be on hand to assist drivers who are trying to get to the police department.
