Howell CSA is a not for profit group. All produce is NJ certified organic from Circle Brook Farm in Andover, NJ Pick up of produce will be on Maxim Road Howell, NJ on Thanksgiving Week Tuesday, 11/26/19

60 lb Howell CSA Fall 2019 Organic Vegetable Stock Up
Pick up date: Tuesday, November 26th
Pick up time: 2 pm - 8 pm
Pick up location: Maxim Road Howell, NJCost: $90

This "stock up" share will include various Fall organic vegetables that store well so that you will be able to enjoy produce from the farm well into the winter months as well as provide veggies for your Thanksgiving feast.


The total weight of this share will be 60+ lbs. Approximately a third of the share (20+ lbs.) will be organic winter squash- butternut, acorn, buttercup (kabocha), delicata, and sweet dumpling squash. The share will also include an assortment of organic root vegetables such as carrots, beets, parsnips, turnips, rutabaga, and radishes. There will also be about 15 lbs. of potatoes and some onions and garlic in the share. The potatoes will include fingerlings, purple majesty (purple flesh) and an assortment of other varieties of potatoes and sweet potatoes.

Also included will be organic green and red cabbage, and whatever greens we still have in the field at this time, such as arugula, broccoli raab or other mustard greens, kale, lettuce, and spinach. It is possible that there will be broccoli and/or cauliflower included and there will certainly be Brussels sprouts. The potatoes, onions, and squash can be stored in a cool, dry place such as an attached garage or enclosed porch, where they will not freeze. The root vegetables, greens, and cabbage will best be stored in your refrigerator.
