Because Dunbar was driving so fast, the force of the impact caused Pappas’s car to spin, flip over and strike a utility pole before coming to a rest, authorities said. Pappas was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in either car.

Dunbar surrendered at the Mount Laurel Police Department on Thursday, Nov. 8. He was later lodged in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. He will have a first appearance in Superior Court in the near future.
