Daisy Troop 61024 of Howell Making the World a Better Place

As one of the many journeys and projects girl scouts complete, first grade Daisy Troop 61024 of Howell completed their Daisy Flower Garden Journey this April. What started out to be a dreary, rainy day, the girls hoped it would stop raining before they set out on their gardening effort. As the afternoon lightened up and the temperature rose, it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. With the soil still moist from the rain, the girls happily put on their gardening gloves and set out to work. With the help from their Troop Leaders. Elaina Chan and Dawn Fox, and the helping moms, the girls planted flowers in the garden at the Howell Library. When you pass by the Library to borrow a book, stop by and sit in the garden for a while and bask in the beautiful garden these young girls helped planted. What a great way to give back to the community and Making The World A Better Place.
