Girl Scout Troop To Help Deliver Letters From Santa This Season
Howell families can request letters from Santa to be delivered by Girl Scout Troop 586 before Christmas. Here's how to get yours:
HOWELL, NJ - The holiday season is right around the corner, and this time, local girl scouts are helping Saint Nick deliver special surprises to the children of Howell and beyond.
Girl Scout Troop 586 will be sending personalized letters and special surprises from Santa Claus from Nov. 16 through Dec. 4 upon request. A personalized letter from Santa goes for $2, while a personalized letter and small surprise (available only to Freehold, Farmingdale, and Howell families) will run you $5.
“Usually, Santa gears up the Workshop in March, but he too had to quarantine because of COVID. He didn't want Mrs. Claus, his Elves, or his reindeer to get sick,” a message announcing the initiative reads.

“So, now that the North Pole is back up and running, he needs all "elves on sled." He is breaking up the responsibilities. He has put Troop 586 in charge of letters. They are very excited to help Santa stay on top of his list this year. “
Letters can be dropped off at Wine & Design in Howell (located on Route 9) or via an online form. Payment can be made to Troop 586’s Venmo account.
