Missing Howell Man Found Safe, Police Say
Alfred Lake, 90, was found late Monday evening, police said.

HOWELL, NJ -- (Updated 11:30 p.m.) A Howell Township senior citizen who went missing Monday afternoon has been located was reunited with his family, police said late Monday evening.
Alfred Lake, 90, who has dementia, went missing about 4 p.m. Monday, Howell police said, after he went out to buy birdseed.
He was located at a Wawa in Galloway Township, Atlantic County, police said in a Facebook post at 11:20 p.m.

“He is safe. Family is enroute. Thank you everyone,” the post read.
Lake, 5-foot-8 and weighing about 190 pounds, lives in The Villages senior development in North Howell.

Police said he frequents Home Depot, Petco/Pet Smart, Boston Market in Howell and Tony’s pharmacy in Freehold.
