Howell Council To Swear In New Members At Reorganization Meeting

Three new members of the Howell Township Council will be sworn in at the meeting.

HOWELL, NJ — Three new members of the Howell Township Council will be sworn in on New Year's Day as the council holds its annual reorganization meeting.

The meeting is set for noon at the township municipal building 4567 Route 9 in Howell.

John Bonevich, Pamela Richmond and Thomas Russo will be sworn into their seats on the township council, where they will join Mayor Theresa Berger and Councilwoman Evelyn O'Donnell on the dais. Robert Nicastro, who served as deputy mayor, and Pauline Smith did not seek re-election to the council. Councilman Robert Walsh finished fifth of six candidates in the balloting.

The Howell Township Police Department Honor Guard will present the colors and there will be a perfomance of the national anthem by the Howell High School Rebel Yell Chorus.
