Howell Farmers Market Extends Season Through October

The annual farmers market, which was slated to end Sep. 27, will continue through the last Sunday in October.

HOWELL, NJ – The farmers market behind the Howell Township municipal building will be extending its season for one month and feature two holiday markets in the winter months, the township announced last week.

The annual farmers market, which was slated to end Sep. 27, will continue through the last Sunday in October.

“We have GREAT News! The Howell Farmer's Market has gotten approval to extend the market into October. We will also be working on a market day in November and December,” the market wrote on social media last week.

“Local Growers and Makers Vendor info will be available at today's market or you can message us. Thank you to everyone who has made our market successful!”

The market opened its doors to residents on May 31 amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, prepared with a slew of precautions including a face masks requirement and a no-touch policy for merchandise. Vendors at the market are assigned to either handle cash or products, but never both.
