Howell K-8 School Year Extended To June 27 Due To Snow Days
Two emergency closure days were built in but the district had five snow days this winter.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township School District will be in session through June 27 this year, as the district makes up snow days from the winter's storms.
The kindergarten-through-eighth grade district had five snow days. The district had two snow days built into the school year, which originally was supposed to end June 22. The three additional days now mean the week of June 18 through June 22 are full days, while June 25, 26 and 27 will be half-days, as mandated by the district.
Eighth-grade graduation is set for June 26, according to Albert Miller, a member of the Board of Education, who posted the information to the Howell Happenings NJ Facebook page.
