Howell OEM - Hurricane Isaias

Attached is the latest information from the NWS on now Hurricane Isaias. In addition OEM has attached the 5am KeyMessages from the NHC. While the storm is currently still located in the Caribbean, and several days away from our area, NJ does fall within the cone of uncertainty, which based on this current information, we could see Tropical Storm force winds as early as 8am Monday.

As noted by the NWS, the track and intensity as well as any impacts beyond strong rip currents and swells remains uncertain.

With the potential of a second Tropical Cyclone impacting our area this month and this early in the season, OEM strongly recommends that everyone take some time to review your personal and family preparedness plans, check your disaster supply kits, go bags and communications plans.

Howell OEM will continue to monitor the storm, will provide applicable updates and is prepared to take the appropriate actions.
