Howell Police Officers Save Choking Victim At Freehold Restaurant

HOWELL, NJ – Officers from the Howell Township Police Department performed lifesaving CPR and saved the life of a Freehold woman at a Route 33 dining establishment over the weekend.

Howell police responded to a report of a choking victim at The Cabin in Freehold Township on Saturday evening, according to Police Chief Andrew Kudrick in a Aug. 22 social media post.

At the scene, officers immediately began performing CPR, with medics removing a large piece of steak from the 56-year-old resident’s throat. Her pulse and breathing returned and became alert soon after.

“Excellent job by all those involved. Proud to be Howell,” the chief wrote.
