Howell Pilot's Body Recovered From Cape May Plane Crash: Report
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

OFF CAPE MAY, NJ — The body of a pilot from Howell Township who died when his plane crashed Wednesday off Cape May has been recovered, according to a report.
Lawrence Klimak, 58, who died Wednesday when the Mooney M20J aircraft he was flying crashed in the water about 1,200 feet from the Cape May Lighthouse, was pulled from the ocean Saturday, NJ.com reported.
His single-engine plane, which had departed from Trenton-Robbinsville Airport on about 8 a.m. Wednesday, was retrieved from the water on Saturday by Sea-Tow, the salvage company said. It posted a photo of the plane to its Facebook page.

New Jersey State Police, who identified Klimek as the pilot on Friday, said the crash off the beach in Cape May Point was reported about 11:30 a.m. The plane was found submerged Friday evening, the NJ.com report said. Read more: Plane Lands In Ocean Off Cape May Point; Rescue Underway
