Howell Staples Donates 120 PPE ‘Care Packages’ To Police

HOWELL, NJ - That was easy.

Staples of Howell on Route 9 recently donated over 100 The Howell Township Police Department, according to a Thursday social media post from police.

120 care packages filled with personal protective equipment (“PPE”) were donated by customers at the Route 9 South store, general manager Anthony Notte reported per Howell Happenings NJ. The boxes contained hundreds of Kleenex To-Go Tissues and bottles of hand sanitizer.

“The members [of] the Police Department would like to extend our gratitude to Anthony Notto, General Manager of Staples in Howell,” the police department wrote. “The PPE care packages are appreciated by all!!”

This isn’t the first time that Notte has kickstarted a community effort. In August 2020 as schools were beginning to reopen for the first time, Staples donated over 70 care packages full of glue, pencils, pocket folders, dry erase markers, index cards, rulers and other school supplies to Land O’ Pines Elementary School.
