In Howell, Regular Republican Slate Leads Challenger

HOWELL, N.J.— The slate of Fred Gasior, Susan Fischer and Ian Nadel was leading challenger Michael Bernstein last night in unofficial results in the Republican primary for three seats on the Howell Township Council. There was no primary for the Democratic council nominations.

The slate was supported by the Monmouth County Republican Organization.

In the Democratic primary there was no contest. The candidates running on the Monmouth Democrats line were:

  • John "Bon" Bonevich (D) - 1,077
  • J. Randy Bishop (D) - 1,047
  • Denise King (D) - 1,068

The vote tallies remain unofficial until they are certified later in June as the final official results by the Monmouth County Clerk's office.
