Howell Women's Self-Defense Training Seminar on Tuesday, 4/21/15
The Howell Women's Self-Defense Seminar will be taking place at Southard School on Tuesday, 4/21/15 from 6:30pm - 9:00pm.
In the world we live in, safety and security are essential in living life with a “positive piece of mind.” On Tuesday, April 21st from 6:30pm – 9:00pm at Southard School located at 115 Kent Road in Howell, The Howell Women’s Self-Defense Training Seminar can provide you with that piece of mind. The Howell Township PAL in cooperation with The Howell Police Department, Howell Chamber of Commerce and the Howell Community Alliance for the Prevention of Drugs and Alcohol brings back this seminar by popular demand for all females, ages 13 and up. The instructor for this self-defense seminar will be Corporal Fred Bauer.
Corporal Bauer who is the Director of the GHCA and the American Society of Arwrologists. He is a career law enforcement officer with over 26 years of experience. Twenty of those years were spent serving with the tactical operations unit, MOCERT (Monmouth County Emergency Response Team). Mr. Bauer has conducted overseas operations and VIP protective details in Bosnia, Kosovo and Kenya. Additionally he has trained members of President Hamid Karzai’s Protection Detail, US Air Marshals and members of the Jordanian Special Forces and Home Guard. His credentials include: US Marine Corps Close Combat Instructor, State Dept. Certified DT Instructor and International Police Task Force DT Instructor. In addition, Mr. Bauer is author of, American Arwrology: The Science of All-Out Hand-to-Hand Fighting.
Learn how to protect yourself in today’s environment through learning simple techniques for your safety and security. In support of our community, we are asking those attending to bring a donation of non-perishable food (canned) for the Howell Food Pantry.
