Man Fraudulently Used Trucking Company's Account To Purchase iPhone 6

The man pretended to be an employee of the company and added the phone to the company's account, according to the indictment.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ -- A West New York man has been indicted on charges he pretended to be an employee of a Newark company to use the company's Verizon Wireless account to get an iPhone 6s, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Cesar Sabino, 32, of West New York, N.J., was indicted on charges of theft by deception, making a false statement in procuring issuance of a credit card; forgery and impersonation in the Nov. 13 incident at the Verizon Wireless store in Howell.

He is accused of pretending to be an employee of BBT Logistics, a trucking company in Newark, and getting himself added to the company's account contract as well as obtaining credit with Verizon Wireless to obtain an iPhone 6s and accessory pack from the store.

Other indictments, dated March 15 and handed up by a Monmouth County grand jury sitting in Freehold Township that were released late last week by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, include the following incidents involving Howell residents or taking place in Howell:

Hakim M. Singleton, 38, of Atlantic City, was indicted on charges of possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a Nov. 25 incident in Howell.

Sean R. Provenzano, 30, of Elmwood Drive, Brick, was indicted on a charge of possession of heroin in a Dec. 7 incident in Howell.

Kevin M. Porter, 27, of Myrtle Avenue, Irvington, was indicted on charges of conspiracy and hindering apprehension in a Nov. 25 incident in Howell. Porter is accused of conspiring with an undercover Howell Township police officer to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and then trying to destroy the evidence.

Joseph Bonilla Jr., 18, of Scenic Drive, Howell, was indicted on charges of credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and obstruction of the administration of law in a Sept. 20 incident in Freehold and Manalapan.

Nichol M. Summa, 45, of Woodside Drive, Howell, was indicted on charges of possession of lorazepam; possession of tramadol; possession of suboxone, and possession of more than five doses of a prescription legend drug, cyclobenzaprine, in a Dec. 13 incident in Howell.

Keith A. Leath, 27, of Hoffman Avenue, Trenton, and Ashley M. Davis, 26, of Stuyvesant Avenue, Trenton, were indicted on charges of possession of heroin, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a Dec. 10 incident in Howell.
