Old Navy Store In Howell To Open In April: Report
The Howell Commons location is scheduled to open April 21, according to a new report.

HOWELL, NJ - Yet another beloved retailer is ready to open in Howell Commons.
Following the opening of a Burlington store at the Route 9 shopping plaza this month, Howell Commons is set to receive yet another well-known brand in 2021, with Old Navy slated to open at the site of the former Howell DressBarn at 4747 Rt. 9.
Dressbarn shuttered all of its brick-and-mortar stores last year following bankruptcy.

The Howell Commons location is scheduled to open April 21, a brand spokesperson reportedly told the Asbury Park Press. The store is currently hiring for several positions, including product operation specialist, assistant manager and brand associate (click here to apply).

Store hours are set to be as follows:
Mon – Sat: 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Sun: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Howell Commons has seen quite a few changes within the last year: Casualties to the COVID-19 pandemic within the shopping center include Petco and Justice.
Old Navy, a 26-year-old apparel chain owned by Gap, previously announced two other new stores in New Jersey in 2020. New sites at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford and Parsippany-Troy Hills are already open to the public.
While parent company Gap has stated plans to close 220 of its stores by early 2024, it also aims to open 30 to 40 Old Navy retailers in the same time frame.
Old Navy currently touts 36 stores in the Garden State, according to its website.
