Pet Store Hosting Puppy Olympics
The store in Farmingdale is holding the contest for puppies, with up to 12 participants.
FARMINGDALE, NJ — Is your puppy the best high jumper you've ever seen? Is she able to fetch better than your kids? Does he find his way around obstacles faster than you can say, "Stop!"
Then you should sign your dog up for the Puppy Olympics, hosted by the Hungry Puppy in Farmingdale.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Hungry Puppy Dog Park, located next to the store at 1288 Route 33 in Farmingdale. It is sponsored by pet food company, WellPet, the store said.

The Puppy Olympics are open to puppies that are six months and younger, and will feature an obstacle course, sit and stay, and a fetch competition. At the end of the games there will be an awards ceremony where three pups will be awarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals.
There are only 12 participant slots available, but spectators are welcome and encouraged! All attendees at the 2016 Puppy Olympics will have the opportunity to receive treats and giveaways from the sponsors.
