Santa Firetruck Appearances Planned In Howell, Farmingdale
Santa Claus will be making his way through Howell and Farmingdale atop a fire truck. Here is where and when you can spot him:
HOWELL, NJ - Six local fire companies will be towing Santa Claus around Howell and Farmingdale for special socially-distant appearances throughout December.
Starting this weekend, families in Ramtown, Freewood Acres, Adelphia and beyond will be able to get a glimpse of Saint Nick. Here's when to expect a visit from Santa:
- Dec. 12: Southard Fire Department, 7 p.m. (District 3)
- Dec. 16 & 17: Farmingdale Fire Department, 5:30 p.m.
- Dec. 19: Adelphia Fire Department, 1 p.m. (District 2)
- Dec. 19: Ramtown Fire Department, 10 a.m. (District 4)
- Dec. 20: Squankum Fire Department, 10:30 a.m. (District 1)
- Dec. 20: Freewood Acres Fire Department, 10 a.m. (District 5)
Those who live on a cul-de-sac or dead-end street are asked to follow the Santa Tracker and report to the intersection of the main road a few minutes before Santa’s arrival.

Some events are weather permitting and subject to change if personnel are needed for an emergency.
“Santa and our membership still need to tend to emergencies as a priority. Sometimes these things occur and the crew will do it’s best to pick up where they left off,” the Southard Fire Department said.
