HOWELL, NJ -- Motorists should avoid the area of West Farms Road and Georgia Tavern Road after a serious motor vehicle accident involving a police car snapped a utility police, Police Chief Andrew Kudrick said."Thankfully the parties involved are OK," Kudrick said in a post on Facebook. West Farms Road is closed between Casino Drive and Havens Bridge Road, and Georgia Tavern Road is closed between Casino Drive and Peskin Road. The closure is expected to last overnight, Kudrick said.

HOWELL, NJ -- Motorists should avoid the area of West Farms Road and Georgia Tavern Road after a serious motor vehicle accident involving a police car snapped a utility police, Police Chief Andrew Kudrick said.

"Thankfully the parties involved are OK," Kudrick said in a post on Facebook. West Farms Road is closed between Casino Drive and Havens Bridge Road, and Georgia Tavern Road is closed between Casino Drive and Peskin Road.

The closure is expected to last overnight, Kudrick said.
