Traffic Alert: Road Closure, Wires Down On Bergerville Road

HOWELL, NJ -- Bergerville Road is closed Friday morning between Sprucehollow Drive and Route 9 due to hazardous conditions until further notice, police said.

Wires are down on the road and it is not known how long the road will be closed, police said.

The morning’s snowfall that began shortly before 5 a.m. has led to slippery driving conditions and a number of accidents, but it was not immediately known if a crash or simply the weight of the wet, heavy snow brought the wires down.
