HOWELL, NJ - Three candidates will pursue three open seats on the Howell Township Board of Education come November.

Incumbent Board of Education members Jennifer Okerson and MaryRose Malley filed petitions to run for re-election by Monday's 4 p.m. deadline, according to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office.

Stephen M. Levine also filed for a seat.

While no seats are open this year for the Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education representing Farmingdale, Peter J. Bruno filed for one open seat to represent Howell Township under the Dedicated Compassionate Educator" slogan.

William Shaffer filed for one open seat on the Farmingdale Borough Board of Education under the "no personal agenda" slogan.
