2 Incumbents Ousted in Morris Freeholder Republican Primary
Two newcomers, one incumbent to represent GOP in November.

It was the most heated Morris County Freeholder Primary Election in recent memory, and one of the most crowded.
Seven Republican candidates eyed three slots on November’s ballot, six of which were split into two teams of three. Three of the seven – John Krickus, David Scapicchio, and John Cesaro – are incumbents.
The top vote-getter was Denville’s Deborah Smith, with 10,006 votes, followed by Mendham Township’s Christine Myers, with 9,427, and one of Myers’ running mates and incumbent John Cesaro, of Parsippany, with 9,374 votes.
