6 Morris County High Schools Among Best In US - Is Yours One of Them?

US News & World Report rankings released, include charter, magnet, and public schools.

There are dozens of high schools in Morris County, but six have been tapped by one of one of the most comprehensive rankings in the country as some of the best in the United States.

In its annual rankings, US News & World Report named its top 58 high schools – including magnet, charter, and public – in the state of New Jersey, and thousands of nationally-ranked schools.

Those included, with state rank and national rank:

  • Chatham High School, 13 in NJ, 245 in US
  • Madison High School, 23 in NJ, 422 in US
  • Mountain Lakes High School, 29 in NJ, 524 in US
  • West Morris Central High School, 43 in NJ, 1018 in US
  • West Morris Mendham High School, 45 in NJ, 1356 in US
  • Mt. Olive High School, 50 in NJ, 1635 in US

The top-ranked New Jersey high school was Biotechnology High School, which came in number 19 nationally.
