$7,000 Cash Found In Jefferson: Police Blotter

The cash was found in a bag by a resident, police said.

JEFFERSON, NJ — Like a scene in a move, $7,000 in cash was found in a bank bag in Jefferson Township. The resident who found the bag on April 30 turned it over to Jefferson Township Police. They were able to find the owner, and returned the cash.

  • April 21: Officer Carroll located Keith Willoughby, 73, of Randolph, asleep behind the wheel of his running Honda Civic in the parking lot of Gatwyns. PO Carroll determined Mr. Willoughby was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed under arrest. Mr. Willoughby was processed at police headquarters and issued MV Summons, pending a future court date.
  • April 30: On Pine Street, while following up on a possible gun shots, Officer Stokes effected a motor vehicle stop. During the stop Officer Stokes detected an odor of suspect Marijuana. As a result of the stop and subsequent inquiry, the following Jefferson Township residents were placed under arrest for Possession of CDS: Michael Brennan, 19, Rebecca Weilbaecher, 19, Jeanne Believe, 19, Dominick Cantagallo, 20. Subjects were arrested transported to police headquarters and processed. All subjects were charged accordingly and released pending a court appearance.
  • May 7: 911 calls of an erratic driver on Berkshire Valley were received. PO Johnson located the vehicle in Acme parking lot. Driver was Bonnie Biville, 21, of Mt. Arlington and passenger was Richard Bosler, 21, of Jefferson Township. Both were arrested for possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia. Ms. Biville was also arrested and charged with DWI. Both were processed, issued summons and released pending a future court date.
