Annual Veterans Cruise Returns To Jefferson Township This Weekend

The event will offer local veterans and their families an opportunity to enjoy a scenic cruise.

JEFFERSON, NJ — The annual Veterans Cruise returns to Jefferson Township this weekend.

The Veterans Cruise will be held on June 27 and is sponsored by Lake Hopatcong Cruises as part of its ongoing commitment to honoring America's veterans.

The event will offer local veterans and their families an opportunity to enjoy a scenic cruise, lunch, and community recognition event.

Two cruise times are scheduled: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for veterans from Jefferson and Hopatcong, and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for veterans from Mount Arlington and Roxbury.

Following each cruise, veterans and their guests will be invited to a complimentary lunch at the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge #782, located at 201 Howard Boulevard in Mount Arlington.

Veterans may bring up to three guests. The event will include a brief presentation, buffet lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, and a cash bar.

Organizers are encouraging interested veterans to reserve their spots through their respective municipal representatives.
