Bank Robber Used Christmas Card To Demand Money From Denville Bank Teller, Affidavit Said

A 31-year-old Morris Plains man wrote his demands in a Christmas Card before he handed it to the teller at a Denville TD Bank on Dec. 27.
An affidavit signed by a Denville police detective stated Larry Zhou then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in a black, four-door sedan, according to nj.com.
Stills from the banks security system were released to the public and Zhou was arrested two days later - he has since been charged with one count of robbery.

Zhou’s bail was initially set at $125,000, but it was later amended to $75,000 through a consent agreement between the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and defense lawyer Paul Selitto, according to the Daily Record.
