Blues Legend Billy Hector Rocks Camp Jefferson

Hector and his band wow concert goers.

When he's not on the road, Billy Hector likes to draw and collect black light posters. However, he doesn't have much time to partake in either of those hobbies, as for much of his 30-year career, he's spent about 250 nights a year on the road.

During that time, he has played with the likes of John Popper and New Jersey's own rock legend, Bruce Springsteen.

Hector and his band came to Jefferson on Saturday night, pleasing the crowd with his blues guitar heroics.

After the concert, he headed back to his home near the Jersey shore, perhaps to enjoy some of those black light posters.

"I have about 30 of them hanging in my basement," Hector said. "I light some incense, listen to Ravi Shankar music and think about things."
