Bomb Squad Called To Morris County Crime Scene

WHARTON, NJ— The Morris County bomb squad was called to a Wharton home on Tuesday to investigate a death, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.

A death was being investigated at the Brentwood Garden Apartments in Wharton Borough.

Both the crime scene unit and bomb squad investigated the apartment, and it was deemed same for law enforcement to enter, the prosecutor said.

The investigation remains active, but there is no danger to the surrounding community.
