Girls Majors Softball All-Star Game a Hit

The weather took a turn for the worse Friday night just before the Jefferson Majors All-Stars were ready to play their annual game. The game was rescheduled and played Saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect for this nine-inning game.

The Jefferson Blue team jumped out to a 6-2 lead after the first inning. The game then settled in and the girls made some fantastic plays including two double plays, one by each team. In the end the Gold team came out on top 16-11.

Hats off to all the girls for a game well played.
