Jefferson Varsity Rec. Falcons Football delivers Montville a one, two punch and wins 16-8.

An aggressive Montville team could not overcome a determined Falcon team. The Falcons scored twice in the first half. The first blow came when Nick (catch me if you can) Fiorelli intercepted a pass and ran it back for a TD. After a beautiful punt from Dakota Parker, pinned Montville at their own 1 yard line. The Falcons swarming defense caused a fumble and number 10, Dakota Parker recovered the ball in the end zone for another Jefferson TD. 

The team will now get ready for their final game against Long Valley. The storm has put football life on hold for a while, but hopefully soon things will get back to normal. I know many will have their stories to tell about their experience. While no one wants catastrophes to happen, it does bring out the best in people (accept on the gas lines). People help people, Neighbors sharing dinners, and many kind acts. I'm sad for the loss of life and property and wish everyone the best in their recovery from this storm.
