New Hope Food Pantry Comes to Jefferson Day for the First Time

New Hope Food Pantry

Carol Robbins and Adele Wildermuth are pictured here at their first time appearance at Jefferson Day.  Visitors to the New Hope Food Pantry booth learned what the numbers 400, 200 and 100 mean.  The food pantry distributes the following to needy local families in Jefferson: 

400 cans of beans and cans of veggies

200 cans of tuna fish/meat meals, boxes of pasta, side dishes, macaroni and cheese and toilet paper

100 peanut butter and jelly jars, boxes of cereal, cans of tomatoes and jars of
spaghetti sauce

If you are please pick up a few items to support the food pantry.  You can drop the items off in the red bin at 316 Dover Milton Road (Milton United Methodist Church), drop off the items at the Oak Ridge post office or just call us.
