Jefferson Day visitors to the New Hope Food Pantry stand learned that these numbers stood for the number of items that the food pantry gives to needy local families each month.

The numbers:

400 cans each of beans/veggies/soup

200 cans each of of tuna fish, meat meals, boxes of pasta, side dishes, macaroni and cheese and toilet paper

100 peanut butter and jelly jars, boxes of cereal, cans of tomatoes and jars of spaghetti sauce
