Fall is here. And for some odd reason, during this time of year I think of maple syrup. Enjoy the following lightly buttered and slightly sticky post.
Fall is here. And for some odd reason, during this time of year I think of maple syrup. So, you can blame the following story on Fall. Yeah, that's it! Let's make Fall the "Fall Guy" (sorry Lee Majors) for this soon to be read tale.
So, here’s the dilemma……. to Eggo or not to Eggo? That is the question. Ever get one of those random late night cravings that you just can’t get out of your head? Kind of like one of those songs that you can’t extract from your inner cranium and you find yourself humming the tune over and over and over again. (I wanted to add another ‘over’ but thought that may have been overkill). Oh, and the tune is usually one that you would never ever fathom humming about in the first place, but must have heard it earlier in the day and picked it up like a hitchhiking flea on a dog. But, as usual, I digress. Back to our original story.
So, here I am….sitting….and get a craving for some Eggo waffles. Do I? Or don’t I? I really could go for those frozen gridded circles of carb topped with butter and syrup. But, on the other hand, should I be good and give my belly a break and enjoy something a tad more healthier (can you say ‘salad’ ?) (and if you can say ‘salad’, can you also say ‘ballad’? (just because they rhyme).
