Saint Clare’s Health System is proud to “Go Red” as part of The  American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® 10th National Wear Red Day® today, on February 1, 2013.   Saint Clare’s Health System employees gathered in the shape of a heart to show off their “red” in front of Saint Clare’s Hospital/Denville today to celebrate National Wear Red Day, part of the association’s Go Red for Women campaign.

National Wear Red Day is the kick-off for a number of heart-health related initiatives for Saint Clare’s Health System that will occur in the month of February.  The community is also invited to “Saint Clare’s CARES: A Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Event” on Saturday, February 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The event, located at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall, will feature discussions on cancer and cardiovascular disease prevention with Saint Clare’s physicians, as well as interactive demonstrations and expert tips on heart-healthy meal preparation and much more.  The event is free, and registration is requested by calling 1-866-STCLARE (866-782-5273).
