Something Different To Do With Those Leftovers
Wondering what to do with those leftovers? Try something different this November.

Halloween is the biggest holiday of the year when it comes to candy sales which are estimated at $1.93 billion, and 90% of parents admit to sneaking goodies from their kids’ Halloween trick-or-treat bags. Even after the sneaking and trading is done, there always seem to be stragglers, either from the gremlins' treat bags or because of overpurchasing. This year, please consider passing those leftovers on to troops currently deployed overseas.
Operation Gratitude sends thousands of care packages and you can help by simply dropping your leftovers in a local box. Currently, boxes are scheduled to be set up at the majority of the schools as well as PostNet on Route 15. More local businesses to follow. Thank you, also, P, for stepping up and organizing to have a box for your scouts. I will be visiting some other establishments today and tomorrow hoping to set up a couple more boxes for your convenience.
Collection will take place between Nov. 1 and 7, which should give plenty of time for raiding and trading. If you'd like to make alternate arrangements or would like to host a collection box, please feel free to contact me at kuzmakrafts@gmail.com

My hope is that this project is so successful that I can actually weigh the candy and give updates on its progress. Stay tuned.
