What It's Like To Be a Member of the Jefferson Juniors

The new year is here and with the holidays behind us some of us are enjoying the time to reflect on them or getting wrapped up in our hectic schedules. As 2011 begins we all have ideas on how to improve our health, our relationships and make changes in our life to eliminate the clutter. But what if one of the changes you make is not a elimination, but an addition.  What if you made a change for yourself that could impact other peoples' lives? I have found this and you could too. 

I have been a member of the Jefferson Junior Woman's Club for more than three years now and I wonder why I was not a member sooner. The friends that I have, the charity projects that I have been involved in and the people I know I have helped are because my friend brought me to one of the monthly meetings for the Juniors.  

So, I open the invitation to you to make a change in your life and a difference in someone elses this new year. Come join us at our special edition February meeting.  This meeting is very special because we will be having a Chocolate Tasting event and raffle. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Center on Schoolhouse Road in Oak Ridge. We are holding a FREE Raffle for (1) Coach Bag, value of $198 and (2) Vera Bradley Bags, values of $49 and $29, at the event.  Attendance at the meeting and participation in the raffle is FREE and you must be present to win.
