The Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development Announces Emotional Leadership Fall Conference

Registration is now open for the Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development’s (CESD) Emotional Leadership Conference. This year’s conference, Emotional Leadership - Leadership in Times of Chaos, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, N.J.

The conference’s highly esteemed guest speakers include: Gordon MacDonald, Gold Medallion award nominated author, speaker, teacher and former interim president of Denver Seminary; Major General Barrye Price, member of President Obama and former President Clinton’s task forces and distinguished military graduate of the University of Houston’s College of Business Administration; Rupert A. Hayles, Jr., president and co-founder of the Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development and chief operating officer of the 8,000 member Christ Church; and Maryann L. Hayles, co-founder and managing partner of the Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development and founder and president of Babyz & Kidz Dynamics.

The session, “Getting to Where I Am,” led by Dr. MacDonald, will cover the importance of emotions in leadership and teach everyone how to discover who they are. Major General Price will lead the session “Chaotic Times: Analytics vs. Emotions” and will discuss the intellectual and emotional fundamentals of leadership and the different types of leadership needed for certain situations. The final session “Body, Soul, Spirit” will focus on self-understanding and how to have an emotionally healthy life regardless of the chaos in daily life.
