Chef Admits Spitting on Food in Morris County Pub, Sentenced to 3 Years in Jail
John Stagg's sentence will run concurrent with another conviction out of Warren County, report says.

The chef handling cooking duties at Kennedy’s Pub in Mt. Olive last October will spend three years in jail after pleading guilty to spitting in someone’s food.
John Stagg, 33, of Independence Township, was on parole during the time of the incident, nj.com reported.
The incident occurred on Oct. 17, 2014 when Stagg said he spit on a customer’s roll but never actually served it. Stagg said he was frustrated because the customer kept sending her plate back again and again, the report said.
