Girls Scouts & The Community – Perfect Together
At Jefferson Days, local Girl Scouts will have a tent to promote Animal Welfare & Recycling as part of their Silver Award Projects. They will hold carnival games where everyone is a winner, have tattoos and provide information about pet adoption and fostering from 11th Hour Rescue. There will also be pet toys made from recycled materials, as well as other crafts for sale. Funds earned will be used towards building a Dog Trail at the new Prospect Point Park, hosting a Pet Adoption Day at that park, and building a Dog Pen at the Jefferson Township Municipal Pound. Come visit us and help support our pet community.
