Rio Clemente, the “Bishop of Jazz”, comes to The Wesley Stage in Milton straight from an engagement in the East Room of the White House.
A native of Morristown, N. J., Rio is a member of its Hall of Fame. He has been named Professional Artist of the Year by the Arts Council of the Morris Area, the New Jersey Monthly Magazine named him among its “Top 40 Jerseyans”, and the New Jersey Jazz Society named him Musician of the Year. Rio played to an audience of visitors and when he finished, he was given a standing ovation. Not surprising for such a master pianist and one with unimaginable musical talent.
The Wesley Stage, located in the Milton United Methodist Church at 316 Dover-Milton Road, Oak Ridge, New Jersey is proud and excited to bring him to Milton again for another special performance. In the honor of Valentines Day this performance is called “LOVE NOTES” where he will be joined by other members of his musical team as they perform popular music from The Great American Songbook.
