See Cirque du Soleil®’s Zarkana with Jefferson Recreation

Cirque du Soleil® is unveiling its latest highly acrobatic spectacle, premiering exclusively at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City; and the Jefferson Township Recreation Department is planning a bus trip for an 8 pm performance on Thursday, June 16 to see it!  

Directed by the internationally acclaimed François Girard (The Red Violin, Silk), the show takes place in an abandoned theatre and follows a magician who has lost his love and with her, his magic has disappeared. As he cries and begs the gods for her return, he is plunged into a world inhabited by surreal creatures. The diverse cast of 71 international artists transports the audience into a fantastical and suspenseful world, blurring the boundaries between the real and imaginary.     

The tickets are $99 per person and include reserved orchestra seating in Section 300, Rows A to D, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity.  The bus leaves the Camp Jefferson parking lot at 81 Weldon Road at 4:30 sharp and then departs from New York City promptly at 9:45 PM for the return trip home.  Since the performance is at 8 pm, attendees will have some time to do a little sightseeing, shopping, and have some dinner before the 8 pm curtain.

In-person payments and telephone credit card reservations will be immediately confirmed at the Jefferson Township Recreation Department office located at 81 Weldon Road at Camp Jefferson in Lake Hopatcong during regular business hours of 9 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday and Fridays from 8 AM to 3:30 PM or by calling 973-663-8404. 

Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability, and tickets will not be sent through the mail.  All checks should be made payable to the Township of Jefferson, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold.  MasterCard and Discover credit cards will be accepted by phone or in person, but a 2.45% surcharge will be added on to cover bank processing fees.

A responsible adult must accompany all children under the age of 18.
