Sweet Taste of Jefferson

Gourmet Desserts and Lively Music will headline at A Sweet Taste of Jefferson

Jefferson's restaurants and food establishments will serve up their finest sweet treats -- everything from tender chocolate layer cake to cheesecake, apple pie and fresh fruit -- at A Sweet Taste of Jefferson, where guests will enjoy a varied selection of instrumental musical performances while sampling a vast array of gourmet confections.

A Sweet Taste of Jefferson will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the Jefferson Township High School Cafeteria. The event will showcase talented student musicians, including the Jazz Band and numerous small instrumental ensembles. Several original student compositions will be premiered.

All attendees will be entered to win one of many interesting door prizes.  

The event is a fundraiser for the JTHS Band Parents Association and all proceeds will support the JTHS instrumental music program and the BPA Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Program seeks to reward students who have demonstrated their dedication to music through the many offerings of the high school instrumental music department.

Admission is $7 per person, $5 for students and Senior Citizens, children under age 5 are free.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  There is no additional charge for food and beverages.
