Softball team's playoff run thwarted by High Point.
They had the same number of wins in the regular season with 22, but it came down to one game Thursday afternoon, and the Jefferson Falcons met their match against High Point.
The North 1, Group 3 number six seed Falcons couldn't get on the board against the two-seed team from High Point, losing 6-0, according to nj.com.
Jefferson mustered just five hits in the game, while giving up 12. High Point's Allyson Frei struck out 11 Falcons in seven innings of work, nj.com reported.

High Point moved on to the group finals to play against top-seed Indian Hills on Friday.
