Golfer Hit In The Face In Jefferson, Other Medical Emergencies Top Morris County Park Police Blotter
Morris County Park Police responded to a number of medical emergencies last week, including one in Jefferson.

JEFFERSON, NJ— A man was struck in the face while playing golf in Jefferson, prompting police and emergency medical services to respond, the Morris County Park Police said in a blotter.
A 30-year-old man was struck in the head with a ball while playing at Berkshire Valley Golf Course in Jefferson on April 22. EMS and police both responded to the golf course.

-4/16/17: ILLEGAL DUMPING: Officers were dispatched to Patriots' Path in Morristown on a report of debris discarded in the area. Incident turned over to the Detective Bureau for investigation.
-4/17/17: MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Officers were dispatched to Central Park in Parsippany on a report of a 9-year-old male with a laceration. E.M.S. also responded.

-4/17/17: INTOXICATED INDIVIDUAL: Officers were on patrol in Morristown when they observed an apparently intoxicated 59-year-old female lying on Speedwell Avenue. E.M.S. was requested and transported the patient to the hospital for further observation and/or treatment.
-4/20/17: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Morristown. An investigation led to Okir A. Ritzie, age 20, of Morristown, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released with a court date pending.
-4/20/17: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Dover. An investigation led to Christopher J. Wales, age 19, of Rockaway, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released with a court date pending.
-4/22/17: MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Officers were dispatched to Central Park in Parsippany on a report of a 59-year-old male who fell from his bicycle and possibly broke his leg. E.M.S. responded and transported the patient to the hospital for further observation and/or treatment.
