Heroin, Drunk Driving Top Jefferson Police Blotter

Here's the Jefferson Township March police blotter.

JEFFERSON, NJ— Jefferson Police made multiple arrests during the month of March including for drunk driving and possession of heroin.

March 13: P.O. Paskas smelled the odor of burnt marijuana while driving behind a White Jeep Cherokee (NJ Reg#Z42FWX). Further investigation uncovered a marijuana blunt in the center console cup holder. The driver David Aguinagamatallana of Dover, NJ was arrested processed and released on a summons pending a court date.

March 19: Kyle Imroth of Lake Hopatcong, drove his car off the road by 15N and Edison Rd. Officer Ondish came upon Mr. Imroth while he was trying to dig snow from under his car by hand and he was subsequently arrested and processed for Driving While Intoxicated.

March 19: Chris Hayden of Sparta was driving on Prospect Point Road, at night with no lights on, when he struck the back side panel of another vehicle backing out of a driveway. Mr. Hayden fled the scene, but was apprehended a short time later by Sparta Police Department. Mr. Hayden was arrested and processed for Driving While Intoxicated. Investigation Continuing.

March 23: Kristina Emory of Columbia NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated at the scene of an Motor Vehicle Crash on Route 15 South and Weldon Road. She was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and released pending a court appearance.

April 1: MV stop for erratic driving lead to the arrest of Emin Goroveci of Roxbury Twp. for possession of Heroin. Goroveci was charged for possession of CDS pending a court date.
