Jefferson Junior Police Academy Returns for 21st Year, Registration Now Open
The week-long program for youth cadets runs Aug. 3-7 at Jefferson Township Middle School; spots are limited.
JEFFERSON, NJ — The Jefferson Township Police Department is accepting registrations for its 21st Annual Junior Police Academy, set for Aug. 3-7 at Jefferson Township Middle School.
The program runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Seventy cadet spots are available at $150 per cadet. Seven Junior Instructor positions are also open; those spots are limited to third-year attendees who must be selected.
Registration is available online through a link provided by the department.

A Parent and Recruit Orientation will be held May 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building Courtroom.
