Jefferson Marks America's 250th With 'Largest Ever' Fireworks Show
Residents can catch the free display May 30 at 1000 Weldon Rd.; parking guidance issued to manage traffic flow.
JEFFERSON, NJ — Jefferson Township will host its annual fireworks display Saturday, May 30, at the JTMS/JTHS Complex, 1000 Weldon Rd., with fireworks beginning at dusk. Township officials are billing it as the largest fireworks display in the event's history, timed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
To ease traffic flow, residents in the Milton/Oak Side Park area are asked to park in the lower lots, while Lake Hopatcong-area residents should use the upper lots.
The fireworks coincide with the Fireman's Carnival, running May 27-30, which features rides and food. More information is available at campys.com/events/45.
